Book Lovers Blog Hop: Where do you post your reviews of books you’ve read?

This is going to be an interesting month. The reason? I’ve been invited to participate with several other book bloggers to take part in a blog hop this month. For those who don’t know, a blog hop is where a bunch of bloggers get together and write about a specific topic and create a list (see my own list at the bottom of this post) that links to the others participating so you can “hop” between posts.
Currently, I have all the blogs listed at the bottom, but I will update this list as the month continues so that it will go directly to the blog hop post.

Where do you post your reviews of books you’ve read?

I am actually a bad reviewer. I’m the kind of person that reads and reads and reads and reads, but hardly ever leaves reviews. *slaps hand* It’s something I want to get better at and it’s a goal for this year and next. That being said, I usually review on Goodreads, and Amazon. I have done two manga reviews on my YouTube channel, and I would like to do more there and for my blog. That’s the goal at least.

Jo Linsdell

I’m an active BookTuber, and AuthorTuber, and do video reviews for books I’ve read on my YouTube channel at I then share the video’s on social media, and both my personal website and I always give a star rating on Goodreads too (sometimes with a short written review), and will sometimes also post to Amazon.

Reviews are key to any author’s marketing strategy. See Presentation here). Therefore I post to every outlet I can. I post to Amazon, Barnes and Noble, & Goodreads. I post on my review blog. This cross pollinates to my Twitter and Facebook pages.

I post my book reviews on my blog at, Amazon, Goodreads, and soon my YouTube channel :

Belinda Bekkers

I’m not great at leaving reviews. I currently mostly use Goodreads for rating books, but not often reviewing. It’s definitely something I want to work on.

I am pretty good at reviewing any book I read. When I first started blogging, I would post “reading lists” of library books I was reading, and I also feature reviews of indie books on my blog (, which are then shared on GooglePlus, and I make sure to copy them to Amazon as well. This year, I am not running reading lists on my blog (since I have SO MANY indie books to read and review!) but I still rate and review them on Goodreads. Also, I share any reviews I post on my blog to Facebook via my author page:

V.L. Jennings

Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes and Noble, and even if I can find the book there.
I’ll post reviews to science fiction books on my blog occasionally but not often. Reviews are also cross shared to Facebook and twitter when I find an author that I really want to shout out to the world about. I can’t wait to finish up with my college courses so I’ll have more time to read just for the fun of it!

C. J. Brightley
